El Mundo Newspaper.
April 1989. I got on a plane right after the newspaper interview. I had a gig illustrating a William Hope Hodgson book--as soon as i land on Boston i get the call. El Mundo newspaper writer felix Juaquin Rivera wanted me to illustrate his articles. Did about 10 of them, the first 3 via mail, but i returned to work locally. It was the begining of a mad plane commuting period that lasted 5 years.
Jibaro Samurai.
This is a three pager i did for Algaro Comics title Jibaro Samurai / Trifulca de Monstruos issue. The original comic art is available ( Black and white)....and by all means buy Jibaro Samurai comics, available on the best comic book stores. Guelo, Chiz and Wewex need your money! I recommend this to all vampires and zombies out there with extra cash on their wallets.

Spoofy Parodies # 2.
Ditko was always a favorite. Among my priced possessions ,a Ditko Creeper original comic art page. Romance comics is something new to me, but i love those golden age comics. Forbidden love is so interesting--by the way, the original comic art pages to The Wrong Love are available.Drop me a note.

Manga Criolla 2010.
Manga Criolla is the local comic book convention. Mr. Lapaix organized a great event! Some of the islands biggest talent was in attendance. I've never sold so much of my original comic book art! The event was last Sunday at the Colegio de Abogados in Santurce an coincided with the PR Cartoonist Association exhibition 40/30. The vampires and the zombies behaved terrible, as usual. A lot of sketching and inking was done for the fans and every one had a blast! As ever, J.H. Vazz.

Vazz Toons vs. Oso Populoso
Yes, it's true. After sketching some nice black and white illustrations for the kids of Make-A-Wish foundation Vazz Toons director J.H. picked a fight with Banco Popular's Populoso Bear. Something about a lost account and some Jack Kirby original art. Perhaps a desperate atempt to make la Comay or Dando Candela? You be the judge.Tell it to the judge!

Vazz Toons and Make -A-Wish foundation.
Puerto Rico Cartoonist Association was asked to do cartoons for the kids of The Make-A Wish foundations local chapter. We sketched and ate hot dogs with the kids and the clowns.I got to take my picture with the Populoso Bear. It was a true honor to participate.Restaurant Los Chavales was a great host.Vazz Toons does community work, not because it's court ordered ,but because it feels good!
