Today i went to Las Cucharas correction center with the Cartoonists Association of Puerto Rico to teach inmates how to cartoon and make comic books.We toured the whole facility,more information that i needed.It was great to teach them about comic book layout and panel composition. Guinness world record holder Gary Javier and Hector Avila gave a great lecture on caricature and cartooning,Prof. Vega from Primera Hora newspaper gave out free MR2 and a great lecture on pop art and Waldemar ,Gibra and Andres Vázquez sketched the inmates. Remember,once they're inside they are not criminals.
